Āsālha
June 10th, 2025 (2568)
Today marks the full moon of Āsālha , the eighth lunar month. Within Samutthaan Winnicchai’s six season causative factors model, this also marks some signifigant shifts.
The second season, Wasanta, has ended. The third season, Wasaanaa, is beginning.
Likewise, the hot part of the year* is fading, and the rainy part of the year is incoming.
Waata has been present as a secondary causative factor for ~60 days. Its influence has accumulated to the point that it now takes over as the dominant causative factor. Its strength is middling, and will continue accumulating.
Bpitta has been present as a causative factor for ~180 days and has been the dominant factor for ~120 days. Its influence has diminished to the point that is ceases to be the dominant cauative factor and now becomes the secondary causative factor. Its strength is also middling, and will continue diminishing.
For the next ~20 days, until the sixth day of the waxing moon of Sāvanda, waata is the dominant causative factor and hatai waata is the Jao Reaun. Bpitta is secondary, and satthaka waata is tertiary.
*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and windy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
