Assayuja and Sarata, 2

October 18th, 2025 (2568)

Today is the eleventh day of the waning moon of the eleventh lunar month, Assayuja. And within Samutthaan Winicchai's six season causative factors model, this brings about some small but important changes.

It is still the fourth season, Sarata, and still the rainy part of the year.*

Waata has been present as a causative factor for ~160 days and has been the dominant causative factor for ~100 days. Its influence is strong, but dissipating.

Semha has been present as a secondary causative factor for ~40 days. It's influence is weak, but accumulating.

For the next ~20 days, until the full moon of Kattikā, Waata is the dominant causative factor and sumanna waata is the Jao Reaun. Semha is secondary, and satthaka waata is tertiery.

*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and rainy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
