Kattikā
November 5th, 2025 (2568)
Today is the full moon of the twelfth lunar month, Kattikā. And within Samutthaan Winicchai's six season causative factors model, this brings about some signifigant changes.
The fourth season, Sarata, and the rainy part of the year* are at an end. Now the fifth season, Hemanta, and the cold part of year begin.
Semha has been present as a secondary causative factor for ~60 days. With the dissipation of Waata, it now takes command as the dominant causative factor. Its influence is middling, but accumulating.
Waata has been present as a causative factor for ~180 days and was been the dominant causative factor for ~120 days. With the accumulation of Semha, it now becomes the secondary causative factor. Its influence is middling, and dissipating.
For the next ~20 days, until the sixth day of the waxing moon of Māgasira, Semha is the dominant causative factor and saw semha is the Jao Reaun. Waata is secondary, and ura semha is tertiary.
*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and rainy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
