Wasannaa and Sāvanda, 2

August 20th, 2025 (2568)

This is the eleventh day of the waning moon of Sāvanda, the ninth lunar month. And within Samutthaan Winnicchai’s six season causative factors model, this signals some minor but important shifts.

It is still the third season, Wasaanaa, and still the rainy part of the year.*

Waata has been present as a causative factor for ~100 days and the dominant causative factor for ~40 days. It is still the dominant causative factor, and its influence is strong as it continues accumulating.

Bpitta has been present as a causative factor for ~220 days. Its influence is weak as it continues diminishing.

For the next ~20 days, until the full moon of Potthapāda, waata is the dominant causative factor and sumanna waata is the Jao Reaun. Bpitta is secondary, and satthaka waata is tertiary.

*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and rainy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
