Potthapāda
September 7th, 2025 (2568)
Today is the full moon of the tenth lunar month, Potthapāda. And within Samutthaan Winicchai's six season causative factors model, this brings about some major shifts.
The third season, Wasaanaa, is over. Now the fourth season, Sarata, begins.
Waata has been present As a causative factor for ~120 days and has been the dominant causative factor for ~60 days. Now it reaches the peak manifestation of its influence.
Bpitta has been present as a causative factor for ~240 days. Its influence has diminished to zero, and now it ceases to be a seasonal causative factor for the next two seasons.
With the peak manifestation of waata and the complete dissipation of bpitta, semha now appears as a secondary causative factor. Its influence is very weak, but still there.
For the next ~20 days, until the 6th day of the waxing moon of Assayuja, Waata is the dominant causative factor and hatai waata is the Jao Reaun. Semha is secondary, and satthaka waata is tertiery.
*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and rainy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
