June 21st, 2025 (2568)

Today is the eleventh day of the waning moon of Jettha, the seventh lunar month. And according to Samutthaan Winnicchai’s six season causative factors model, this brings about some small but important shifts.

It is still the second season, Wasanta, and still the hot part of the year.*

Bpitta has been present as a causative factor for ~160 days and has been the dominant factor for ~100 days. Its influence continues to diminish, but remains somewhat strong.

Waata has been present as a secondary causative factor for ~40 days. Its influence continues to accumulate, though it is still somewhat weak.

For the next ~20 days, until the full moon of Āsālha, bpitta is the dominant causative factor and gamdao is the Jao Reaun. Waata is secondary, and apattha bpitta is tertiary.

*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and windy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
