Wasanta & Jettha, 1
June 1st, 2025
Today is the sixth day of the waxing moon of Jettha, the seventh lunar month. Within Samutthaan Winnicchai’s six season causative factors model, this brings about some minor but important shifts.
It is still the second season, Wasanta, and still the hot part of the year.*
Bpitta has been present as a causative factor for ~140 days and has been the dominant factor for ~80 days. After reaching its peak on the previous full moon, it is now diminishing, but its influence is still very strong.
Waata has been present as a causative factor for ~20 days. It is continuing to accumulate, and though its influence is still somewhat weak it must be factored in.
For the next ~20 days, until the eleventh day of the waning moon of Jettha, bpitta is the dominant causative factor and apattha bpitta is the Jao Reaun. Waata is secondary, and gamdao is tertiary.
*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and windy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
