Assayuja and Sarata, 1
September 28th, 2025 (2568)
Today is the sixth day of the waxing moon of the eleventh lunar month, Assayuja. And within Samutthaan Winicchai's six season causative factors model, this brings about some small but important changes.
It is still the fourth season, Sarata, and still the rainy part of the year.*
Waata has been present As a causative factor for ~140 days and has been the dominant causative factor for ~80 days. It's influence is still very strong, but dissipating.
Semha has been present as a causative factor for only ~20 days. It's influence is still very weak, but accumulating.
For the next ~20 days, until the 11th day of the waning moon of Assayuja, Waata is the dominant causative factor and satthaka waata is the Jao Reaun. Semha is secondary, and sumanna waata is tertiery.
*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and rainy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
