Hemanta & Māgasira, 2
December 16th, 2025 (2568)
Today is the eleventh day of the waning moon of the first lunar month, Māgasira. And within Samutthaan Winicchai's six season causative factors model, this signals some minor but important changes.
It is still the fifth season, Hemanta, and the cold part of year.*
Semha has been present as a secondary causative factor for ~100 days and is still the dominant causative factor. Its influence is very strong, and accumulating.
Waata has been present as a causative factor for ~220 days and is still the secondary causative factor. Its influence is very weak, and dissipating.
For the next ~20 days, until the full moon of Phussa, Semha is the dominant causative factor and khuut semha is the Jao Reaun. Waata is secondary, and ura semha is tertiary.
*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and rainy) is specific to the climate of Thailand.
